Wizard vs. Wizard (July 2012 [tentative])

This year's flagship hunt is "WIZARD VS WIZARD", with a magic and epic fantasy theme.

The Dark Lord is rising! And the only clue to how to defeat him is the ancient prophecy handed down from time immemorial:

Red, green, yellow, blue
Find the amulets: two and two
Traitors heed the Dark Lord's call
All must stand or all will fall

So... are you a good witch or a bad witch?

If your answer was "good witch", you might want to consider being on the side of GOOD. GOOD players:

If your answer was "bad witch", you should probably sign up as EVIL. EVIL players:

Players sign up as individuals and choose at the start of the hunt which of the four teams (Red, Blue, Yellow, or Green) they'd like to join. Each team receives an identical set of clues, and each set of clues leads to one of the four mystical amulets mentioned in the prophecy. Only if every team finds its amulet can the GOOD players defeat the Dark Lord and win the game. And if they do, then the last team to place its amulet in the ancient shrine also gets a themed mystery prize!

However, no one except the hunt organizer knows who is GOOD and who is EVIL! Players must decide which of their teammates to trust in order to make sure their own side wins.

Since everyone knows electronics and magic can't work at the same time, players will have to ditch their smartphones and laptops and win the hunt using nothing but their wits, their magical destiny, and their in-game spells.

Finally, players are also encouraged to come in appropriate COSTUME. There will be a vote for the top three costumes of the hunt!

Good luck!
