Public Hunts

Pieces of Nine hosts public location-specific hunts in the Canadian cities of Ottawa and Toronto. Our Internet public hunts are open to any resident of any country (hunts are only in English and may involve North American media and products). If you are outside our serviced area, we may be able to plan a personalized custom hunt for you or your organization in your area. Contact us for details.

On the right, you will see links to pages about our past and upcoming public hunts!

Pieces of Nine's flagship hunt is held annually each summer. We also host a variety of additional public hunts throughout the year. Keep checking this page, E-mail Icon join our mailing list, or visit one of our communities (Facebook Icon Facebook, LiveJournal Icon LiveJournal) to stay informed.

Participate!

Anyone is welcome to register a team for public hunts! Spaces will often be limited, so make sure to register early to avoid disappointment.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult team member in order to play. All team members must have a completed and signed waiver to participate.

What to Expect

Our hunts are designed to be appropriate for all ages, although children under the age of thirteen may find some aspects to be very challenging.

Public hunts can last anywhere from two hours to two days (average of six hours), depending on the skill level of your team and the scope of the hunt. Unless otherwise indicated, plan to be busy for the entire morning, afternoon, or evening.

We encourage you to browse our previous hunts to get a better idea of what takes place.
