The initial consultation is free! Please contact us today to find out if a personalized hunt is right for you or your group.

Pieces of Nine will determine the cost of your event depending on the complexity and scope of your hunt. If you have requested that a Pieces of Nine associate attend your event, a $15/hour per associate charge will apply.

Because planning personalized hunts requires an initial financial investment, Pieces of Nine asks our clients to pay a non-refundable deposit within a week of hiring us. Usually, this deposit is 50% of the estimated total cost.

Estimating your Costs

To give you a rough idea of costs, here are some averages based on past personalized hunts:

Child's birthday party	Hour-long hunt confined to a single home	$75 to $150 + expenses
Adult adventure	Half-day hunt across a city	$400 to 500 + expenses

The nature of expenses will depend on the type of clues you choose, the length and location of your hunt, and the number of teams.

Simple text clues	Map and codes printed on card stock	$10 to $20 + prizes
Hand-crafted clues	A clue hidden inside a whole walnut	$25 to $50 per team + prizes

Pieces of Nine issues invoices payable online by credit card, bank, or Paypal account. Other payment options are negotiable on a case-by-case basis.

Scheduling

Please try to contact Pieces of Nine at least a month in advance to plan your hunt. If the date you want to host a hunt is less than a month away, feel free to contact us anyway. We'll still do our best, but we can't guarantee that we'll be able to handle your project.
