Personalized Hunts

Pieces of Nine plans custom treasure hunts and scavenger hunts of varying scopes and durations for the cities of Ottawa and Toronto. Contact us if you would like to discuss alternate locations.

Tell us:

how long you'd like the hunt to be;
where you'd like it to be located; and
how many people will be attending.

We'll come up with clues, maps, lists, and/or prizes, depending on your needs. You can also specify desired themes and how cooperative or competitive you'd like the hunt to be. The personalized clues and treasure will be delivered to you at an appropriate time during the week leading up to your event date. You may expect to receive a set of detailed and simple instructions along with an extra set of clues (just in case).

We also host public hunts for which interested teams can register.

Custom-Tailored Excitement

Custom hunts are designed expressly for a private customer to meet his or her needs and they are not open to the public. Personalised hunts will not be advertised by Pieces of Nine. A Pieces of Nine associate may be available to set up and implement your hunt for you (subject to availability).

Being on a treasure or scavenger hunt team is fun and exciting way to break the ice with new friends, spend some time with old friends, or keep your brain and body sharp. Treasure and scavenger hunts are suitable for birthday or holiday celebrations, special events, team-building exercises, and any other get-together.

The duration of each hunt is variable, depending on the needs of the client. A relatively simple treasure or scavenger hunt will last at least an hour; a more complex one might take a whole day. Longer hunts can be organized by special arrangement.

All Pieces of Nine needs is a sense of how challenging you want the hunt to be.

Participate!

We can plan a hunt for your kids/co-workers/friends/parents/neighbours! Although we require our public-hunt teams to have at least one adult team member, we are happy to plan kids-only hunts on private property for individual customers.

Q: Can you plan a hunt for three/thirty/three hundred people?
A: Pieces of Nine has planned hunts in the past for three and thirty, and we're always up for new challenges! Give us the details during the initial consultation, and we'll give you a personalized breakdown of the possibilities.

Supervision of Children

Hunts intended for children must be supervised by your adult hosts. A Pieces of Nine associate (if present) will implement your hunt, but will not directly supervise children.
